Where else can you combine stately elegance and Old World charm with the fascinating and edgy Mütter Museum? The beautiful ballrooms and halls of the College each possess their own character and graciousness. Together we will plan a Mitzvah reception so that at the end of the day, every guest will know that that they have been part of something special.

The remarkable evening begins by your guests stepping through the iron gates of the College. Walking up the Georgian steps, the oak doors open into the magnificent Marble Vestibule and Rotunda where you will greet your guests during a fabulous cocktail party that flows throughout the first floor. If you choose, guests may walk through the Museum. Kids love the Museum! It’s engaging, cool and, to them, a little creepy-but most of all, it’s different.

After cocktails, guests are invited to Mitchell Hall for dinner and dancing. We seat 250 with plenty of room for “Coke and Pepsi” and the adjoining Ashhurst Hall offers a separate space for dessert and coffee. Ashhurst is a lovely room of beautiful carved wood and intricate plaster work that provides a soothing refuge for any sound-challenged guests while still being part of the party.

A Mitzvah celebration at The College of Physicians is unique, grand and spacious. Having use of all the event spaces in the facility fosters a dynamic party spirit by being able to change the character and feel of each portion of the evening.  Here, you don’t need a lot of chazerai to be distinctive on the Mitzvah circuit. We can’t guarantee that your child will be a future Fellow, but we promise a celebration that will be the second highest point of your day!

We throw parties that are remembered!
